Chocolate Snack Cake with Strawberry Jam

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup butter
  • 5 squares bittersweet baking chocolate
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups dark brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • dash of sea salt
  • 1 cup AP flour
  • Strawberry jam heated and ready to drizzle (optional if you are crazy)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate on stove top
  3. Remove pan from heat
  4. Add all ingredients except for the eggs
  5. Stir until combined
  6. Add the eggs
  7. Stir until well blended
  8. Pour batter into 9" x 13" pan
  9. Bake for 20 minutes
  10. Take out and let cool completely
  11. Cut and enjoy!
  12. Bake for 20 minutes in
