Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream | | |

- 6 large egg yolks
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 pinch fine sea salt
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 quart heavy cream
- Place egg yolks, egg, sugar, sea salt, and vanilla extract in a bowl
- Mix with electric mixer until it becomes a light yellow color
- Add heavy cream and mix until combined
- Pour into ice cream maker
- Turn on ice cream maker
- Wait 20-30 minutes until thick
- Remove thick ice cream into large freezer safe container
- Push plastic wrap into the ice cream, so you do not get a funky layer
- Cover and freeze for 3-5 hours
- Enjoy in a big bowl, with or without toppings
