Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
  • 1 lb brussels sprouts
  • Sprinkle sea salt
  • Healthy drizzle extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 grinds of fresh ground pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Clean brussels sprouts if necessary, by trimming stem and taking off outer leaves
  3. Place them in boiling water for 3 minutes
  4. Remove them and place them on wooden cutting board
  5. Cut them in half
  6. Place in bowl with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt
  7. Toss to coat brussels sprouts
  8. Pour sprouts onto a parchment or Silpat covered sheet tray
  9. Place tray in oven
  10. Roast for 10-15 minutes, or until brussels sprouts start to get some color
  11. Serve directly out of the oven
